LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball coach Bob Marlin announced on Friday the addition of California high school product Elijah McCoy (Fresno, Calif.) to a grant-in-aid for the 2016-17 season.
McCoy, a 6-foot-9, 235-pound forward, averaged 16.7 points, 13.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks as a senior at Roosevelt High School. He helped the Rough Riders to a second-round appearance in the 2017 Central Section Division III playoffs and was a first-team All-North Yosemite League selection.
"Elijah is someone who will add height as a post presence for us in the future," Marlin said.
