LAFAYETTE, La. – The 13th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team held its first full-squad practice on Friday as the team continued preparations for the 2017 season opener.
"Even though we still have a ways to go to be ready for opening day, I feel like we are where we need to be to get there," head coach Tony Robichaux. "I'm liking what I see from our guys offensively, and as a pitching staff we are slowly progressing to where will be able to face live hitters. These next couple weeks are very crucial for us to start to shape up our lineup come our first game.
