LAFAYETTE, La. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Athletics Department held its inaugural Letter Jacket Ceremony last week as 99 student-athletes were awarded with their letterman jacket at the Donald and Janice Mosing Student-Athlete Performance Center.
"We felt this was an important piece to improve the student-athlete experience and celebrate their achievements," Director of Athletics Bryan Maggard, Ph.D. said. "The Letter Jacket Ceremony is a great event for everyone involved and helps to add to the importance of each student-athlete's contributions to our program."
Members of seven programs including men's and women's basketball, men's and women's track and field, men's and women's tennis, softball, baseball and golf were honored during the ceremony.
