LAFAYETTE - The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team will start Year No. 5 with Gerry Glasco ranked in every major national poll following Tuesday's announcement of the USA Today/NFCA Top 25 preseason poll.
The Ragin' Cajuns (47-12, 21-3 Sun Belt in 2021) were listed at No. 23 in the poll. The program has now been preseason ranked by the NFCA each year since 2004.
The 2022 USA Today/NFCA Top 25 Coaches Poll is voted on by 32 NCAA Division I head coaches with one representing each of the NCAA's Division I Conferences.
