The Cajuns second doubles team of junior Coleman Wahlborg and senior Jake Wynan fell to Michael Feucht and Benny Schweizer 6-0. The third and final doubles team of senior Edgar Lopez and junior Eric Perez were defeated by Juuso Laitinen and Sebastian Santibanez by a final of 6-3.
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team came up just shy of a season-opening victory, falling narrowly by a 4-3 final to the visiting Lamar Cardinals at the Cajun Courts on Saturday.
