LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team looks to continue to improve on their conference tournament seeding as they play their final two regular season matches this weekend.
The Cajuns (15-10), who have won four of their last five matches, will face Southern Miss (14-7-1) in Hattiesburg on Friday (April 8) for a 2 p.m. first serve.
Louisiana is coming off a doubleheader sweep of Xavier (La.) last weekend in the home finale, posting wins of 4-0 and 4-2, and reaching its highest win total since 2014 (20).
Senior Edgar Lopez clinched the Ragin' Cajuns 4-2 victory in the nightcap and improved his overall record to a team-best 12-4 in singles play this season.
