LAFAYETTE – Bryce Washington recorded his 10th double-double of the season, scoring 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, while Jay Wright added 18 points as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team ran out and posted a 90-64 win over Pepperdine on Tuesday at the Cajundome.
The freshmen tandem of Jerekius Davis and P.J. Hardy each came off the bench to score 13 and 12 points respectively as Louisiana (10-3) reached the 10-win mark before opening conference play for the first time since the 1990-91 season.
The Ragin' Cajuns built a 15-point lead at halftime before outscoring a short-handed Pepperdine squad (4-7), 49-38, in the second half after finishing 21-for-32 (65.
