LAFAYETTE – After leading the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Soccer team to a pair of shutout victories last week, junior Lizzie Mayfield was named to the Top Drawer Soccer Women's Team of the Week, in an announcement by the organization.
Mayfield led Louisiana to a pair of 2-0 road victories after scoring a goal and adding two assists during the week. The West Virginia transfer scored a goal and served up the game-winning assist at Little Rock on Friday before dishing out the go-ahead assists in Louisiana's 2-0 win at Central Arkansas on Sunday.
