LAFAYETTE – With the 2019-20 basketball season tipping off in less than 60 days, the Louisiana Women's Basketball team has announced the non-conference portion of its schedule, head coach Garry Brodhead announced.
The newly announced schedule features five games against opponents from the state of Louisiana and includes two matchups with SEC foes, including a big home contest against national power Mississippi State (Dec. 16).
"I think that we have put together a quality non-conference schedule," Brodhead said. "Our team has worked really hard this offseason, and I think that our trip to Cuba really brought us all together and prepared us for the grind that comes with the season.
