LAFAYETTE – After splitting a pair of in-state midweek contests, the Louisiana baseball team resumes Sun Belt play this weekend, March 22-24, when it welcomes Appalachian State to Russo Park for its league home opener.
Game times are set for 6 p.m., on Friday and 2 p.m., on Saturday, while Sunday's finale is scheduled for a 10:30 a.m. first pitch. Game One of the series will be broadcast on ESPN+, with the final two games airing on RaginCajuns.com/Watch.
The Ragin' Cajuns (10-12, 2-1) won its opening conference series with two wins on the road at Little Rock last weekend and earned a victory over Northwestern State (8-3) on Tuesday before falling to Tulane, 7-3, on Wednesday evening.
