LAFAYETTE – Riding a four-game Sun Belt Conference winning streak, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team hits the road this weekend as they head on the Texas swing, taking on UT-Arlington, in Arlington, Texas on Thursday, Jan. 18 and Texas State, in San Marcos, Texas on Saturday, Jan. 20.
Louisiana enters the weekend sitting third in the conference with a 9-8 (4-1 SBC) record, while the Mavericks enter the 5 p.m. Thursday evening matchup with Louisiana carrying an 8-9 (2-4 SBC) record. Texas State, who'll play ULM on Thursday, enters the weekend with a 11-6 (4-2 SBC) record and they sit right behind the Cajuns in fourth place and the Saturday matchup with the Cajuns will tip at 2 p.
