LAFAYETTE – Louisiana will begin its final road swing of the regular season on Thursday night in San Marcos when it takes on Texas State. Tipoff from Strahan Arena is slated for 7 p.m.
Winners of the last four meetings between the two programs, the Ragin' Cajuns are looking to improve their road record this season to 5-2 after dropping two of their last three games away from home.
In its last outing, Louisiana (13-5, 5-3 Sun Belt) used a complete performance on both ends of the court to run past Arkansas State, 68-57. Senior Ty'Reona Doucet once again made a big impact, recording her sixth-straight double-double and her eighth of the season with a game-high 17 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.
