NEW ORLEANS, La. – After not being selected once in his first two seasons with the Louisiana baseball team, junior left-hander Gunner Leger has garnered back-to-back Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week honors following his dominant performance against Saint Peter's, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Collegiate Baseball Newspaper also honored Leger as he was tabbed one of ten National Players of the Week. Leger joins Evan Guillory (2016) and Kyle Clement (2015) on the list of Ragin' Cajuns players to earn the recognition in the last three seasons.
