LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns golfer Micah Goulas picked up a postseason honor as the junior was named Newcomer of the Year as the 2019 All-Louisiana Men's and Women's golf teams were announced on Saturday by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA).
The teams were selected on the basis of nominations made by the sports information directors from the state. The list of nominations was based on stats and honors accumulated through the conference tournaments.
"Very proud and happy for Micah being named second-team All Louisiana as well as earning Newcomer of the Year honors," head coach Theo Sliman said.
