Forward-focused: After series win at South Alabama, Cajuns’ Tony Robichaux keeps his eye on the next opponent, UNO on Tuesday

LAFAYETTE — The Louisiana-Lafayette baseball team may have taken the biggest of what is now eight straight series victories over the past weekend, but coach Tony Robichaux said that won’t help his squad in the final week of the regular season.

That week begins Tuesday on the road when the Cajuns (33-19) travel to face UNO in a game rescheduled from April 13 because of rain.

The Ragin’ Cajuns took two of three games against Sun Belt Conference leader South Alabama in Mobile, winning the final two games after losing in walk-off fashion Friday night.
