CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – Junior Marina Rodriguez Garcia and freshman Ai Noa Fabre, paired up in doubles, went 2-0, including an exciting 7-6 (12) win to reach the finals in the Dolphin Draw, to pace Louisiana Women's Tennis, who went 4-2 as a team, at the first day of the Contender CrossFit Islander Open in Corpus Christi, Texas.
ON TO THE FINALS: Garcia and Fabre began their day winning 6-3 over UT-Rio Grande Valley's duo of Dominique Ibarra and Ana Platisa to move onto the quarterfinals in the Dolphin Draw.
