COLUMBUS, Miss. – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball rising senior DJ Sanders was presented with a resolution from the Lowndes (Miss.) County Board of Supervisors in her hometown of Columbus, Miss., recognizing her as one of the nation's best college softball players.
The resolution, presented to Sanders by District 3 supervisor John Holliman on Monday, July 31, recognized her accomplishments from the 2017 season.
A Top 10 finalist for USA Softball Player of the Year, first team NFCA All-American and the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year, Sanders turned in a career-best offensive performance during her junior campaign.
