LAFAYETTE — Before the fun starts again, there was still some unfinished business.
As the Louisiana-Lafayette softball team takes a peek toward the 2017 season, there was the need to digest a super regional defeat at the hands of the Oklahoma Sooners.
Cajuns coach Mike Lotief plans on revisiting the memories of that series — that ended with a 7-6 Oklahoma win — rather than reviewing the material evidence.
“It still stings,” Lotief said. “It’s going to sting for a while. In the final analysis, I’m not going to watch the (last) game again.
