NEW ORLEANS – After an impressive showing last week at 41st annual Justin Cooper Rice Invitational, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's cross country team entered the South Central Region Poll at No. 15 as the first regular-season USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Regional Cross Country Rankings were released on Monday.
The Ragin' Cajuns, who were one of four Sun Belt Conference schools in the regional rankings, finished sixth overall in their second event of the season. Louisiana was joined in the South Central rankings by UT Arlington (No. 4) and Texas State (No. 8) with Appalachian State ranked 12th in the Southeast Region.
