LAFAYETTE – No. 18-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball swept the weekly Sun Belt Conference awards for the second time in the past three weeks as sophomore catcher Lexie Comeaux and senior pitcher Alex Stewart were recognized by the league on Tuesday.
Comeaux hit six home runs and posted 15 RBI during the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational, going 9-for-15 with eight extra base hits, in earing Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week honors. She finished the weekend strong, going 3-for-4 at the plate with three home runs and eight RBI on Sunday.
It's the fourth straight week a Ragin' Cajun was named SBC Player of the Week.
