EUGENE, Ore. – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns sprinter Hanoj Carter will look to become the first All-American in the men's 100-meter dash since 1973 when he begins competition on Wednesday at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at historic Hayward Field.
Carter is set to race in the semifinals at 7:46 p.m. CT, competing in the second of three heats with the top two from each heat and the next two fastest times advancing to the finals on Friday at 8:22 p.m. CT. Wednesday's competition can be seen on ESPN2 with the finals slated for a national television audience on ESPN.
