1. What we learned
We’ve heard plenty about redshirt freshman Jordan Wright impressing the coaching staff with his strong performance in spring practice, but he finally got to show that off in Saturday’s spring game. Rushing against what was mostly the first-team defense, Wright picked up 88 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. He easily turned in the most impressive individual performance by an offensive player, and he might have positioned himself to be the top option behind stud senior Elijah McGuire once the fall rolls around.
