LAFAYETTE – DJ Sanders added three more home runs to her nation-leading total and Lexie Comeaux posted seven RBI during 17th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball's 19-4 (5 inn.), 7-1 doubleheader sweep of Georgia State on Saturday at Lamson Park.
Sanders launched two home runs in Game 1, her seventh game of multiple home runs this season, and added a two-run homer in Game 2 that gave Louisiana (35-6, 16-1 Sun Belt) a four-run cushion in the third inning. She increased her nation-leading home run total to 27 which is the third-most hit in a single season in program history.
