WEST POINT, Miss. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns golf team ended the rain-shortened first day of the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship in a tie for 13th after notching a round of 10-over par (298) on a wet Monday at the par-72, 7,088-yard Old Waverly Golf Course.
"This was a pretty disappointing day with a lot of mediocre play," head coach Theo Sliman said. "I expect more from an experienced group like this with three seniors in the lineup. The positive thing is that this is a very tight leaderboard, which gives us a chance to make a move in the final round.
