ARLINGTON, Texas – ULM kept up its successful year on the court as it claimed the doubles point and three straight-set victories in singles to defeat the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's team, 4-0, on Saturday at the UTA Tennis Center.
Tiffany Mylonas, Petra Horakova and Madalina Grigoriu each claimed wins in singles as ULM improved to 12-1 overall and 5-0 in Sun Belt Conference play. Louisiana, which was playing in its final regular-season match before the Sun Belt Conference Tournament that begins on April 20, fell to 8-10 overall and 1-4 in SBC play.
The Warhawks took the doubles point with Horakova and Stefana Andrei posting a 6-2 win over Lucile Delabarre and Abby Johnson at Court 1 and Grigoriu and Karolina Snita earning a 6-0 win over Kelly Drew and Carla Ortega on Court 2.
