LAFAYETTE — University of Louisiana at Lafayette softball coach Michael Lotief said the Ragin’ Cajuns are back to having fun after they capped off a three-game sweep of Appalachian State with a 14-0 win Sunday.
“They felt comfortable today, and they’re just back to playing softball, Lotief said. “No more thinking. They’re out there having fun and just letting it happen.”
The Cajuns hit three home runs Sunday, including a three-run homer from Shellie Landry, her third of the weekend and 13th of the season. Lotief said Landry’s recent surge in production is long overdue.
