LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns head coach Mark Hudspeth announced on Monday the addition of five newcomers to the 2017 roster, highlighted by former University of Cincinnati punter Sam Geraci as a graduate transfer.
Joining Geraci (Cincinnati, Ohio) on the 2017 roster are junior college defensive back Koa Haynes (Covina, Calif.), former Acadiana High product Andre Landry, former Opelousas Catholic product Spencer Gardner and defensive back Jeremiah West (New Orleans, La./St. Augustine HS).
Geraci, a 6-foot-4, 230-pound product, averaged 41.5 yards per punt in three seasons at Cincinnati with 67 punts placed inside the opponent's 20-yard line.
