NEW ORLEANS – The duo of Karleen Bedre and Ruthny Mathurin each earned postseason honors for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Soccer team as they were part of the 2021 All-Sun Belt Conference team released by the league office on Thursday.
The 22-member squad was nominated by the league's women's soccer sports information directors and selected by the league's 11 head coaches.
Bedre, a junior from Norco, Calif., was a second-team selection at midfielder after finishing the regular season as Louisiana's team leader in points (15), assists (5) and game-winning goals (2).
