Baseball: Three Cajuns Selected In The 2016 MLB Draft

LAFAYETTE, La. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball program saw three of its players selected in the 2016 MLB Draft on Saturday.

Junior right-hander Reagan Bazar was the first Louisiana player selected as he was taken in the 17th round (pick 515) by the San Francisco Giants. The Ragin' Cajuns then saw seniors Stefan Trosclair and Eric Carter taken by the St. Louis Cardinals in the draft. Trosclair was selected 616th overall in the 20th round, while Carter was taken with pick No. 796 in the 26th round by the Cards.
