LAFAYETTE — Sunday screams of excitement turned into a more measured Monday for the Louisiana-Lafayette softball team.
A day after the 14the-seeded Cajuns learned their route regarding the NCAA regional, the focus switched to the more common aspects of early week preparations for an upcoming weekend visit by Boston University, Texas and Texas A&M.
“The next three days is all about us,” Cajuns coach Mike Lotief said. “This has been 16 years for me. Our game is about routine. It never gets old. Whether it’s hitting fungos or breaking down film or getting on the bus .
