Visit with Stedman Bailey offers Rams a deeper perspective

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- Like most of his St. Louis Rams teammates, defensive tackle Michael Brockers didn't want to believe it when he first heard that wide receiver Stedman Bailey had been shot twice in the head on Nov. 24.

After Bailey's shooting was confirmed, it became real but it still seemed so far away. For Brockers and many of his fellow Rams, the only way to keep tabs on their fallen friend was via updates from coach Jeff Fisher or through technology, be it photos, text messages or the occasional video chat.
