Rookies who compete for the Los Angeles Rams have historically had a better shot at contributing early if they play defense. It’s been that way for some time, ever since the team pivoted toward youth following a disheartening 5-12 finish in 2022. And for the most part, that youth movement has been a rousing success.
But 2025 may find the team pivoting from an emphasis on veterans to young talent on offense as well. And the 2025 NFL Draft seemed to support that shift, as the team selected TE Terrance Ferguson, RB Jarquez Hunter, and WR Konata Mumpfield in a class that already is down to five remaining rookies on the roster.
