"We appreciate their interest in St. Louis and the Dome at America’s Center, but we just did not have the February 2019 dates available due to contracts already signed," Ratcliffe said Wednesday in a statement. "During our discussions with them last week, AAF officials indicated they were trying to identify a neutral site to host games in February but had not been successful."
Faurot Field at the University of Missouri seemed to make sense as a site that could be used for a game or two in February but deputy athletics director Nick Joos said Mizzou was not contacted by the Alliance.
