With the first overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams selected quarterback Jared Goff out of Cal. In past years the first overall pick has been one of the first rookies to sign their rookie deal, however, that has not been the case thus far as Goff is one of just 14 rookies who have yet to sign their rookie deal.
Earlier this week, Carson Wentz, the number two overall pick signed his contract with the Eagles receiving a four-year, $26.7-million contract that includes a $17.6-million signing bonus.
The Rams have consistently been one of the later teams to sign their rookies, but with them having drafted Goff first overall, this year could have been different.
