Random Ramsdom: Rams training camp will take place at California Lutheran University

Due to the recent announcement by the NFL that teams must host their training camps at their own personal facilities, the Rams will no longer be spending their summer at the UC Irvine as initially planned.

Instead, the Rams will hold their training camp at their local facility which, for the time being, is at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.

“(This decision) was made in response to a league-wide memorandum issued by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell,” says Rams team reporter Stu Jackson. “In order to limit COVID-19 exposure risks through traveling and having to maintain two facilities, clubs have been instructed to hold their training camp at either their facility or home stadium and cancel joint practices this year.
