Random Ramsdom: NFL, NFLPA finalize plans for 2020 season

We did it. We’ve made it to this point and we’re oh-so close to actual football being played out on a real field with real players. No more Madden simulations and video game highlights.

Commissioner Roger Goodell sent out this memo on Friday, essentially confirming that both the NFL and Players Association have come to terms on all remaining issues that have been preventing the league from going full-speed ahead into the year.

“Training camps will begin as scheduled,” Goodell affirms. “We have worked collaboratively to develop a comprehensive set of protocols designed to minimize risks for fans, players, and club and league personnel.
