According to the L.A. Times’ Nathan Fenno, construction at SoFo Stadium had resumed on Monday following the death of a worker who fell from a part of the roof late last week. Per the Los Angeles County coroner, the man was identified as Juan Becerra, a 37-year-old ironworker from Brownsville, Texas.
He was pronounced dead at the scene following the fall which estimated to be around 110 feet, which is twice as far as the original 50-60 feet in initial reports.
As of right now, the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health is investigating the death.
