What had become a logjam at wide receiver for the Rams was cleared Saturday when the team traded wide receiver Chris Givens to Baltimore for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2017.
Givens entered the regular season as the team's fourth wideout, and had only one catch for seven yards and one run (on an end-around) for 24 yards in three games. He had participated in 46 offensive plays, or 29 percent of the team's total time on offense, but that one reception marked the only time he was targeted in the passing game.
With coach Jeff Fisher announcing Friday that Brian Quick would be active for Sunday's game at Arizona, Givens was scheduled to be on the pre-game inactive list before the Baltimore trade materialized.
