EARTH CITY, Mo. -- One day after St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher said he was "almost out of answers" when it comes to fixing his team's offensive woes, he made a change by relieving offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti of his duties.
The Rams announced that Cignetti has been fired Monday afternoon and that tight ends coach Rob Boras, who also had the title assistant head coach/offense, will take over for Cignetti.
"We thank Frank for his hard work and dedication over the past four years," Fisher said in a statement. "We wish him the best moving forward.
