Rams may regret not going after Brandon Marshall in free agency

Entering the offseason, the Los Angeles Rams knew improving the linebacker position was going to be a top priority, similar to around this time last offseason.

Even after the Rams convinced Dante Fowler Jr. to return on a hefty one-year deal, the NFC champions were still hoping to add depth to the linebacker position. And while signing Clay Matthews will certainly help fill the need on defense, it’s tough not to wonder what could have been with Brandon Marshall.

After struggling to find a new team over the last few weeks, the former Denver Broncos linebacker finally found a new home after agreeing to a one-year deal with the Oakland Raiders on Thursday to help Jon Gruden‘s team continue to be one of the biggest offseason winners.
