Rams' Matthew Stafford practices for first time in training camp

LOS ANGELES -- For the first time during training camp, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford practiced Monday.

Stafford, 37, had been sidelined because of an aggravated disk in his back, and other than throwing passes in a workout two weeks ago had not practiced with the team.

On Monday, Stafford took part in the entire practice, starting with individuals and then progressing to full-team drills.

"I thought he did a good job today," Rams head coach Sean McVay said. "We had 26 plays of team, and he did a really nice job of managing the huddle.
