For the first time since 1999, the St. Louis Rams and American Red Cross hosted the annual Rams Blood Drive in two locations in an effort to save more lives in the St. Louis area. Rams players, cheerleaders and team mascot Rampage traveled to Chesterfield and University City, where they met with donors and signed autographs. Some even joined Rams fans and donated blood themselves.
“This event is like our holiday kickoff and any donation helps,” said Jennifer Denham, account manager with the American Red Cross. “We collected a lot of blood in one day and it’s just awesome we can reach so many people.
