No matter how you classify the position, whether edge, outside linebacker or defensive end, General Manager Les Snead has not hesitated in drafting that role. What round he’s been willing to pull the trigger is another story.
Since taking over in 2012, Snead has drafted a dozen edge players and just one of those came before the Snead/Sean McVay union in 2017.
