It was nowhere near the injury devastation NFC West rival, the San Francisco 49ers suffered in Week 2 — they lost, well, just about everybody it seems — the Rams did lose two offensive starters Sunday in an otherwise brilliant day in Philadelphia as they beat the Eagles, 37-19.
Both running back Cam Akers (ribs) and left guard Joe Noteboom (calf) departed the game and neither player returned. After the win, Rams coach Sean McVay said he didn’t have any updates on either injury.
