Rams injury report: Cam Akers is day-to-day

The Rams do not know if they will have rookie starting running back Cam Akers on Sunday at Buffalo, according to ESPN. Adam Schefter reported the second-round pick is day-to-day because of separated ribs cartilage. Akers was injured in a 37-19 win at Philadelphia on Sunday and could not return.

Rams’ rookie RB Cam Akers separated rib cartilage during Sunday’s win.

Rams’ RB Malcolm Brown fractured his left pinky in the same game and underwent surgery Monday to repair it.

Rams expect Brown to play Sunday at Buffalo, but are uncertain about Akers, who is now day to day.
