Los Angeles Rams right guard Jamon Brown has been suspended without pay by the NFL for the first two games of the season for a violation of the league's policy and program for substances of abuse.
Brown will be allowed to participate in training camp and preseason games, but will not be on the active roster for a season opener against the Oakland Raiders or for a Week 2 matchup against NFC West opponent Arizona Cardinals.
Brown, a fourth-year pro, can return to the active roster on Sept. 17 in preparation for a Week 3 game against the San Diego Chargers.
