Jeff Fisher’s team opens the 2016 season with a Monday Night game Sept. 12 at San Francisco. For St. Louisans interested in rooting for — or against — their old team, they’ll have to stay up late. Kickoff is 9:20 p.m. St. Louis time as the second half of ESPN’s season-opening Monday night doubleheader.
It marks the first time the Rams open a season on Monday night since 2000, when the defending Super Bowl XXXIV champions hosted Denver, winners of Super Bowls XXXIII and XXXII.
