The Los Angeles Rams have claimed former New England Patriots defensive end Derek Rivers and will be adding him to the roster this week. The Rams had several openings after placing three players on injured reserve last week.
The Rams claimed former Patriots DE Derek Rivers off of waivers. The move will become official tomorrow with the Rams playing tonight vs. the Bucs.

The fact that Los Angeles was able to claim Rivers despite being relatively low on the priority order would imply that there weren’t many suitors for the former third round pick who has struggled to even be active for games throughout his career.
