The Los Angeles Rams defense is powered by its pass rush. And the pass rush is powered by outside linebacker Byron Young. Young has 9.0 quarterback sacks in nine games. But since the Week 8 BYE, he has yet to bring down an opposing quarterback, and that's a problem.
Don't read more into this. No player can generate quarterback sacks every game. And averaging a sack per game is still a pretty frantic pace. The thing is, if the NFL playoffs are the goal this year (and they are), then Young needs to contribute at the same pace as he has all season.
