Nobody in the NFL gets more respect right now than Aaron Donald. Not everybody says that Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback in the NFL. Not everybody believes that Derrick Henry has the same amount of value. But nobody would argue against Donald as the best defensive tackle, few would argue against him as the best defensive player overall, and some know that he should be in the conversation for MVP.
Donald finished with 13.5 sacks in 2020, but the Rams finished with 53 as a team and it is obvious that Leonard Floyd’s 10.5 sacks, Morgan Fox’s six, and definitely Troy Reeder’s three-sack game all owe credit to the player who made it possible.
